Best Review: “I fell in love with the original Miu Miu fragrance a while back and every time a new one came out I would give them a try but there was always something missing. I can honestly say this is the BEST Miu Miu fragrance out right now. It has a very fresh, springtime scent to it and manages to be heavily floral while still staying light. If you're a fan of jasmine, honeysuckle, or orange blossom I would definitely give this a try. There's also a hint of pepper in this one but nowhere near as strong as the original fragrance. There is a distinct sharpness to it but once it mellows out, it develops into just a lovely scent. A twist on the original Miu Miu fragrance, the L’eau Bleue is an experimental perfume for the woman who rejects the norm. Though its standout notes are fresh and dewy, it still remains sophisticated.
This nature-inspired fragrance invokes an after-rain earthiness combined with the scents of a freshly-bloomed field of flowers. However, what truly makes the L’eau Bleue unique is Miu Miu’s trademark scent, Akigalawood, which gives this perfume its signature peppery undertone. Its bottle has a baby-blue glass body with an accented translucent yellow cap.
When first sprayed, the L’eau Bleue’s top note, lily-of-the-valley, floats toward the nose with a burst of bright florals. I am relieved to say that this is a completely beautiful and surprisingly non-offensive scent that blooms with white flowers and a bit of fresh greenery and then eventually transforms into a really lovely retro nostalgic softer, slightly powdery scent that has just a hint of pepper to give it something unusual, but still retains it's very floral origins...I was really worried this was going to be overpowering, overly peppery or 'bug-spray'ish' but it's not at all. It's easy to wear and definitely works as both a day and night scent. Stoked I got the larger bottle.”
